IAG Cargo recognised by workplace institute as a Top Employer for 2025

The global authority on recognising excellence in people practices, the Top Employers Institute, has named IAG Cargo as a Top Employer for 2025.

The accolade recognises IAG Cargo’s dedication to building a positive, inclusive workplace through people-focused policies, practices and reinforcing its commitment to being a leading employer.

The Top Employers Institute programme certifies organisations based on the participation and results of their HR Best Practices Survey which covers six HR domains consisting of 20 topics including people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, diversity, equity and inclusion, wellbeing, and more.

IAG Cargo says that investing in people is central to its business strategy. The organisation recently introduced a refreshed development pathway designed to provide employees with the knowledge they need to succeed. Since launching ‘Leading the Way’ in 2024, the initiative has received external accreditation, underscoring its quality and value in fostering professional growth.

Caroline Andrews, chief people officer at IAG Cargo, said: “We are incredibly proud to have retained our recognition as a Top Employer for 2025, which is reflective of our unwavering commitment to supporting our employees. A company’s culture plays a crucial role in shaping employees’ workplace experiences and is an essential component to inspire determination and passion in their work.

“As a global business constantly striving to drive innovation and change, we could not be successful without the remarkable dedication and talent of our employees.

“Retaining this accolade is testament to the time and resources our team is investing to cultivate a positive working culture and empowering our employees to achieve their full potential. At IAG Cargo, we are committed to listening to our employees and investing in initiatives that enable us to collectively strive for excellence in all we do.”

Within the last year IAG Cargo has also launched ‘Licence to Recruit’ – a training programme which supports inclusive hiring and enhances manager skills across global operations.

Additionally, IAG Cargo’s ‘Great to Be’ campaign has been instrumental in connecting employees with topics that matter, helping to create a supportive and open culture within IAG Cargo.
