Oman Air Cargo boosts capacity to Amsterdam and London with B787-9s

Oman Air Cargo has announced it will launch direct flights to Amsterdam starting 1 July 2025, as well as boosting cargo capacity to London Heathrow starting this winter.

Both routes will be served by the airline’s B787-9 fleet.

The Amsterdam route will operate four days a week offering 14-18 metric tonnes in each direction.

Double daily flights on the Muscat-London Heathrow route will be relaunched in October 2025. The second flights on the route will initially be added on four days a week, with a view to increasing to 14 flights a week by the summer of 2026.

Michael Duggan, head of cargo at Oman Air, said: “The launch of our Amsterdam service, along with increased frequencies to London, means we can offer our cargo customers greater flexibility and a wider global reach, supported by our modern fleet.

“We are proud to offer a high quality, reliable service through our efficient, temperature-controlled cargo terminal in Muscat and the new routes are an opportunity for us to boost our cargo offering.”
