Czech Airlines Technics to deploy QOCO MROTools to improve tooling control

MRO company Czech Airlines Technics (CSAT) is set to improve operational efficiencies with the deployment of a digital tooling management system from aviation software solutions provider, QOCO Systems.

The application, ‘QOCO MROTools’, will help CSAT to accelerate the digitalisation of critical and time consuming operations related to tooling management.

QOCO MROTools is designed to simplify the process of booking, returning and tracking tools needed for aircraft maintenance and repair activity. It is currently used by many airlines and MROs including Finnair, Endeavor (part of Delta Group) and TAP Portugal, among others.

Matti Nevala, chief executive of QOCO Systems, said: “We are very happy to provide CSAT with a solution that will significantly advance their digitalisation efforts even further and welcome them to a list of already satisfied customers.

“In a market situation where the industry is struggling with resource shortage and increased need for efficiency, QOCO MROTools will help CSAT to ensure more efficient and safer tooling management.”

Petr Dobersky chief executive and chairman of the board of directors at CSAT, said: “CSAT will be the first independent MRO in the industry to deploy this technology. By digitising the airline tool lending and introducing cloud service for the AMOS, our M&E system, we are meeting the needs of our lessor and airline customers and providing them with an even greater level of safety and efficiency.

“Equally important, our mechanics will benefit from the reduction in paperwork that is common in aviation due to safety regulations.”
