BSA and Virgin Atlantic collaborate to deliver A330ceo/neo type training

The British School of Aviation (BSA), a Part 147 multi-authority approved training organisation, has announced it will collaborate with Virgin Atlantic Engineering Training to deliver internal EASA Part 147 A330ceo/neo type training.

The first cohort of A339 type training scheduled to begin in Q1 2025.

The new partnership reflects the long-standing relationship between the two organisations.

Paul Swain, manager of engineering training at Virgin Atlantic, said: “We have worked with BSA for many years and are proud that we continue to support each other. Shonu and his team at BSA always work tirelessly to not only raise the bar of training standards but to also support us with our third party requirements, ensuring continuous service provision.”

Shonu Bamrah, BSA’s accountable manager and executive director, said: “It is a privilege to support Paul and the entire Virgin team. We have built our reputation on trust and standards, and we are delighted to continue this journey with the Airbus A330. As with all our clients globally, we aim to maximise their return on investment in BSA by exceeding expectations at all times.”

BSA’s type training portfolio spans both Boeing and Airbus variants, but the organisation prides itself on more than just its approvals.

BSA executive director, Anoop Singh Bamrah, said: “BSA is not just a place to get your type training; it is also a place to build your career and work alongside some of the most talented individuals in the industry. Our relationships with our customers are at the core of what we do, enabling us to deliver on current objectives while expanding future opportunities.”
