Saudia Cargo has announced it has achieved significant growth in 2024, driven by innovation, expansion, and sustainability initiatives.
The company transported 577,870 tonnes of cargo – a 27% increase from the previous year – and recorded a 6% rise in flight activity, reaching 193,599 flights.
The cargo carrier also reports that e-commerce shipments grew by 23%, while high-value shipments contributed 54% of total revenues.
Furthermore, operational efficiency remained high, with a 92% on-time performance.
Expanding its global reach in 2024, Saudia Cargo introduced new routes to Shenzhen, Athens, and Nice. It also strengthened support for local exports, transporting 13,740 tonnes of Saudi-produced goods. Key partnerships included agreements with Red Sea Global and the Royal Commission for AlUla, as well as a collaboration with the Saudi Logistics Academy to upskill 300 employees.
Other key 2024 achievements the company reinforcing its sustainability efforts by launching its inaugural Sustainability Report and aligning with IATA’s net-zero carbon goals, boosting digital services including a specialised e-portal, and Saudia Cargo being recognised with industry awards for air cargo excellence and e-commerce leadership.

Looking ahead, Saudia Cargo claims it will expand its fleet with next-generation aircraft, adopt sustainable transportation methods, and invest in AI-driven digital infrastructure to enhance tracking and efficiency.
The company also plans to advance automated cargo handling systems, reduce costs, and implement eco-friendly logistics.
