Scandinavian SAS airline has opened the ‘SAS Lounge by Mastercard’ at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Located at Gate F26 in terminal five, travellers are offered access to a ‘first-class lounge’ experience in a modern setting.
In recent years, airport operator Swedavia has made major investments in Arlanda, including a new, modern security control.

“As part of Stockholm Arlanda’s ongoing development, it is particularly pleasing that we are getting a brand new lounge in Terminal 5. With the ‘SAS Lounge by Mastercard’, we continue to develop and fulfil our target group promise to our passengers of smooth, inspiring experiences where the airport becomes a meeting place in its own right,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, Director of Marketing and Commercial Business Development at Swedavia.
The lounge is SAS’s second at Arlanda — joining the SAS Gold Lounge at Gate E1 — and offers guests a variety of snacks and light fare. In addition, a full breakfast buffet is served in collaboration with Scandic Hotels.
“We are pleased to offer travellers exclusive amenities, just a short walk from security control. ‘SAS Lounge by Mastercard’ is based on our valued partnership with Mastercard and Scandic Hotels, and represents a milestone in our shared goal of improving the experience for our travellers,” says Aron Backström, Vice President Product & Loyalty at SAS.
