Aircraft painting and exterior coatings company MAAS Aviation has named Danny Hakker as its new chief executive officer.
Hakker joined MAAS Aviation in 2023 as chief financial officer and has more than 20 years of international experience in the transport and distribution, media and telecoms, and service industries.
Hakker said: “MAAS Aviation has a strong and skilled team with many years of experience, a loyal customer base, and supportive investors. I am very proud of our team and the quality of our services. These are exciting times for the company and I am committed to driving long-term growth and contributing to MAAS Aviation’s continued success.”
Andrew Hoad, chairman at MAAS Aviation, said: “Danny’s vision and expertise strengthens the senior management team, enhancing the group’s commercial focus, driving change and providing strategic direction. He is a great fit for MAAS Aviation and I am confident that the business will continue to thrive and evolve under his leadership.”

The announcement was made during Aviation Week’s MRO Europe 2024 event in Barcelona.
