MRO Europe: Joramco signs first MRO contract with Norse

Amman-based aircraft MRO facility and engineering arm of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), Joramco, has signed its first long-term contract with Norse Atlantic Airways.

Under the agreement, Joramco will carry out maintenance checks on the Norwegian low-cost long-haul airline’s B787 fleet.

Joramco says the five-year partnership highlights its commitment to delivering renowned services and technical expertise to new international clients.

Fraser Currie, chief executive of Joramco, said: “We are delighted to welcome Norse Atlantic Airways for the first time at Joramco facility. This partnership is a testament to the company’s position as a global MRO and we are eager to kick off this collaboration and strengthen our joint efforts in the future.”

The announcement was made during Aviation Week’s MRO Europe 2024 event in Barcelona.
