Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has signed a comprehensive A320 Component Support Contract with Air Corsica, including A320ceo and A320neo models, which will run through to December 31, 2035.
This new contract replaces an existing component agreement signed in 2013, marking another milestone in the longstanding relationship between Air Corsica and AFI KLM E&M.
The new contract encompasses a range of critical services designed to enhance fleet performance and operational efficiency. Component Pooling allows Air Corsica access to a shared inventory of components, ensuring availability and rapid deployment when needed. Component Repair services will maintain the highest standards of safety. The Main Base Kit Positioning in Ajaccio involves the strategic placement of essential components at Air Corsica’s main base, minimising downtime and further enhancing operational efficiency.
Hervé Pierret, member of the management board of Air Corsica, said: “We are thrilled to extend our collaboration with AFI KLM E&M through this new component support contract. This agreement not only demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service but also reinforces our long-term vision for fleet reliability and operational excellence.”
Pierre Teboul, senior vice president commercial of AFI KLM E&M, said: “We are honoured to continue our partnership with Air Corsica. The signing of this contract reflects our shared dedication to innovation, efficiency, and superior customer service. We look forward to supporting Air Corsica’s operations and contributing to their ongoing success.
The announcement was made during Aviation Week’s MRO Europe 2024 event in Barcelona.
