IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group (IAG), has appointed Animal Aircare as its new animal export partner at London Heathrow Airport.
This move builds on the existing relationship, as Animal Aircare has served as IAG Cargo’s trusted import partner since February 2023.
The appointment underscores Animal Aircare’s expertise in animal transportation and reflects IAG Cargo’s confidence in the company’s ability to deliver safe, secure, and welfare-focused services for animals in transit.
Having managed imports for over 18 months, Animal Aircare will now oversee exports, further strengthening its role in ensuring animal welfare.
Mark Andrew, director of Animal Aircare, said: “Having successfully handled imports for IAG Cargo the past 18 months, we are excited about the opportunity to expand our services and venture into exports from Heathrow Airport on behalf of IAG Cargo.”
This partnership reaffirms both companies’ dedication to raising animal welfare standards in air transportation.
