Aircraft operating leasing company BOC Aviation has entered into a lease transaction involving 14 Boeing 737-8 aircraft with TUI Airways Limited, the British arm of the TUI Airline group.
Scheduled to be delivered in 2025 and 2026, all aircraft will be powered by CFM LEAP-1B engines.
Steven Townend, chief executive and managing director at BOC Aviation, said: “With this financing we are once more working with our existing customer, TUI, as it builds its fleet of new generation aircraft.
“With the delivery of these aircraft anticipated over the next two years, this transaction will contribute to our investment and revenue pipelines.”
BOC Aviation‘s fleet comprises 693 aircraft, including those owned, managed, and on order. As of September 30, 2024, its owned and managed aircraft were leased to 93 airlines across 48 countries and regions worldwide.
