Channel Islands carrier Blue Islands is to allow dogs and cats to be transported in its aircraft.
Animals will travel safely in an approved pet carrier, which will be transported to and from the aircraft by the owner, who must be on the same flight and the pet carrier will be secured in the hold.

Whether you’re travelling, relocating, or bringing a new pet from the UK, we’ve created a seamless process to ensure a safe and smooth journey.”
He added: “This initiative comes in response to growing demand from our community, especially from families looking to bring dogs and cats home to Jersey or Guernsey from the UK.”
This new pet transport service is available for travel from 1 March 2025, with bookings open now.
