MRO provider AMAC Aerospace has completed maintenance work on a Boeing B747-8 for a long-term customer.
The major repair work was completed at the end of November 2024 after the aircraft had suffered hail damage.
AMAC Aerospace shared that its experienced Boeing team removed the aircraft’s elevators and flap fairings for repair and in parallel performed a 12-, 24- and 48-month check.
AMAC Aerospace reported that its engineers worked extra shifts to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible, and that the customer was ‘very satisfied’ with the work.
