FL Technics’ Punta Cana hangar takes shape

Aircraft maintenance solutions company FL Technics has reached the halfway stage of constructing its new MRO hangar at the second busiest airport in the Caribbean, Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ).

The facility will include five bays for base maintenance operations including a complex of supporting shops.

The hangar and bay facilities will span 20,000 sqm, and the total area of the new infrastructure will be 52,000 sqm.

Sharing the milestone news on social media platform LinkedIn, FL Technics said: “This facility is designed to bring world-class MRO services to the Americas, supporting our commitment to better serve our clients globally.

“With each phase, we’re moving closer to creating a modern and fully-equipped space for narrowbody aircraft maintenance that will enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and increase capacity.”
