The annual Crystal Cabin Awards has announced it’s shortlist of finalists in all categories.
This year will see the new categories “Accessibility” and “Judges’ Choice: Airline Innovation” join the roster of awards handed out at the event.
Collins Aerospace, Diehl Aviation and Lufthansa Technik are all shortlisted in the Cabin Technologies category, while Air France, Air India, Cathay Pacific and United are all in contention for the ‘Airline Innovation’ award.
Cathay gets another nomination, alongside it’s partners JPA Design and Reaktor for the new Aria suite in the Passenger Comfort category, while Comfort Motion Global, Thompson Aero Seating and Astronics PGA are also vying for this trophy.
Boeing, Adient Aerospace, BotanyWeaving and LanzaTech meet Unum Aircraft Seating and Diehl Aviation in the Sustainable Aviation category, while Cathay, Collins and Diehl are all on the shortlist for the new accessibility category.
The Crystal Cabin Awards will be held on the second evening of the AIX show in Hamburg. This year, the awards will be held in the city’s Elysée Hotel.
