Aviator secures ground handling deal with easyJet at Tromsø

Aviator Airport Alliance, a full-range provider of aviation services at 15 airports across the Nordics and a family member of Avia Solutions Group, has signed a new contract with easyJet to provide ground support for the airline as it begins operations at Tromsø (TOS) this November.

The new contract starts on November 11, will last three years, and covers ground handling and de-icing services.

EasyJet’s new Tromsø service will offer 14 flights per week this upcoming winter with routes to Amsterdam (AMS), Bristol (BRS), Berlin (BER), London-Gatwick (LGW), Geneva (GVA), Manchester (MAN), and Paris (CDG).

Peter Stackeryd, managing director of Norway at Aviator Airport Alliance, said: “We are delighted to see easyJet launching these new routes to TOS, and we are looking forward to starting the new Partnership with the airline.

“We are excited that easyJet has chosen us, and we are looking forward to delivering the results and on-time performance for its passengers.”

The contract for service at TOS expands easyJet and Aviator Airport Alliance’s relationship. The airline and aviation service provider are currently partnered at Copenhagen (CPH).
