IT services, consulting and business solutions company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art delivery centre in Toulouse, France.
The delivery centre will harness next-generation technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, machine learning (ML), and data analytics to improve aircraft design, manufacturing, and maintenance processes for European clients.
This includes enhancing fuel efficiency, developing advanced materials for lighter aircraft structures, and implementing predictive maintenance to minimise downtime, improve safety, and redefine the passenger experience of the future.
TCS says the delivery centre is strategically located in Blagnac near Toulouse Airport so that it is close to customers in the aerospace industry. It also becomes TCS’ fourth delivery centre in France after Lille, Poitiers, and Paris-Suresnes.
Anupam Singhal, president of manufacturing at TCS, said: “This new centre embodies TCS’ commitment to driving future-ready manufacturing within the aerospace industry. By harnessing the power of AI and our deep domain expertise, we aim to achieve new heights of efficiency, sustainability, and innovation. Together, we are not just shaping the future of aircraft production but enabling future-ready skies.”
Rammohan Gourneni, country head for France at TCS, said: “This new centre of excellence, a real catalyst for growth for our long-term strategy in France, brings together the best local talent and mobilises the entire international know-how of our group to offer sharp advice and flawless project execution to aerospace players.
“More than an expertise centre, it is an engine of opportunities for engineers in the region, offering them dynamic and stimulating career prospects in an international environment. We aim to significantly invest in technologies, partnerships, and local talent to contribute to the development of an excellent aerospace industry, here in France.”
