Bermuda based start-up BermudAir has achieved Autism Double-Checked company certification.
By ensuring that all of its employees completed autism awareness and sensitivity training, the airline has taken a significant step in fostering an inclusive travel environment. The U.S government estimates that one in 36 citizens are on the autism spectrum.

Since 2015, US-based Autism Double-Checked (ADC) has ensured that that individuals with autism and their families can travel with confidence and ease. Through its certification programs, the organisation works with airlines, hotels, and airports to enhance autism readiness across the travel experience. Their three-tier system equips industry professionals with tools and training to better accommodate the unique needs of travellers on the autism spectrum.
“Achieving ADC certification is a meaningful accomplishment for BermudAir as we continue to refine the experience we offer all our guests,” said Adam Scott, CEO & Founder of BermudAir. “We’re proud of our team’s dedication to fostering an inclusive environment for all travellers. Through our partnership with Autism Double-Checked, we look forward to amplifying support for the global autism community and making a positive impact that extends beyond the skies.”
BermudAir started flying one year ago, and has since expanded to cover a number of cities in North America.
